Laser Therapy

Animal laser therapy offers a safe, non-invasive, painless and drug-free therapy which can help in almost any condition where pain and inflammation are present.
Laser therapy works through a process called photobiomodulation. Light is absorbed at the cellular level and initiates a chemical change that reduces inflammation, improves microcirculation, and speeds healing.
Laser treatments are cumulative, and most animals show improvement after as few as 2-3 treatments. A laser treatment schedule will be discussed for each individual case to decide how often treatments should be performed.
Dr. Doust uses a Pegasus Class IV laser machine for all of the animal laser therapy treatments. This machine is critical for depth penetration and power.
